Challenge

RWE needed a greenfield frontend for a complex real-time trading platform. Commodity traders work with millisecond-precise market data — any UI delay means real financial loss.

Solution

Design and development of a high-performance Angular architecture with SignalR for bidirectional real-time communication. The UI processes continuous price streams without render blocking, enabling traders to make split-second decisions based on live market data.

Challenge

Soptim builds software for energy suppliers and grid operators — domains with highly complex state machines, strict regulatory requirements and users who tolerate no errors. A scalable, maintainable frontend architecture was essential.

Solution

Design of a component architecture based on Material UI with explicit statecharts (XState) for complex UI workflows. React Context API and reducer patterns provide predictable state management without overhead — scalable across the entire product portfolio.

Challenge

As lead developer in an IoT research project at Siemens Headquarter Munich, I worked at the intersection of industrial hardware and modern web technology — in an environment demanding the highest standards of reliability and architectural quality.

Contribution

Design and implementation of frontend components for industrial IoT applications. Close collaboration with hardware engineers and backend teams to prepare OT data for modern web interfaces.

Challenge

Nokia required a high-performance tool for capturing and analysing production metrics in a manufacturing environment with high data throughput — reliable, low-latency and directly connected to the production line.

Solution

Development of a native C++ tool with Oracle Parallel Server as the database backend. The parallel database architecture enabled simultaneous capture and analysis of large volumes of production data without performance degradation.

Challenge

Daimler needed a scalable web application for a global business partner network — with complex permission structures, international users and high demands on consistency and maintainability of the frontend architecture.

Solution

Design and development of the frontend architecture in TypeScript with Redux for centralised state management and REST interfaces for backend communication. A clear separation of UI layer and data layer enabled independent development and easy extensibility across the global partner network.

Daimler TSS needed to upskill its internal software developers in modern frontend technologies and architectures — moving away from legacy approaches towards scalable, maintainable web applications at the current state of the art.

Design and delivery of training programmes for internal developer teams in modern frontend stacks. Hands-on coaching directly on the project — no abstract theory, but transferable architecture patterns the team could apply productively immediately.
